What this means
This is rated medium severity (6.9 out of 10). There is no confirmed exploitation of it yet.
Full vendor description
The PEAK-System PCAN parser indexes a length table using attacker-controlled DLC without enforcing DLC <= 0x0f, then copies attacker payload from record+0x1c into a fixed-size stack destination.
Scoring and exploitation
Exploitable only with local access and a low-privilege account, and no one has to click or open anything. High impact on integrity and availability.
